Callaway's Ai-designed face varies in thickness across dozens of zones, which is a marketing line until you see the dispersion numbers — heel and toe strikes lose noticeably less ball speed than a conventional face. The thermoforged carbon body frees up weight for a deeper CG. Sound is much improved over previous carbon-bodied Callaway heads: lower pitched and solid rather than tinny.
